BALD MOUNTAIN ~ MIRROR LAKE HIGHWAY

BALD MOUNTAIN

God gave us a cool refreshing day in the the mountains. Some of our hikers went fishing at Mirror Lake and caught rainbow trout.


BALD MOUNTAIN TRAILHEAD

DESCRIPTION: Bald Mountain offers great views of Mirror Lake, Moosehorn, and the Uintas. This trail has a lot of exposure.

RATINGS: Moderate
MILEAGE: 1.6 miles each way
ELEVATION GAIN: 1,179
HIKE TIME: Allow 3 hours to enjoy this hike.
DRIVE TIME: Allow 1.5 hours from Salt Lake City
FEE: Mirror Lake Recreation Pass or National Rec Passes.
GEAR: Make sure you bring a jacket. Bring long clothes in your car, in case it gets cold. Hiking poles are recommended.

MIRROR LAKE HIKE 
DESCRIPTION:  After Bald Mountain hike, drive down to Mirror Lake and enjoy a mild hike around the lake. This is a great place for fishermen, too.
MILEAGE: 1.4 miles
RATINGS: NEWBIES
KIDS love this hike!
HIKE TIME: 45 minutes.
