Just want to praise God for such a wonderful place to visit in the mountains. Fresh snow, clean air and even the birds were singing praise songs.

Power pole/Maples Campground loop
DESCRIPTION ~ A wonderful National Forest trail, north of Snowbasin. This trail is open to cross country skiing and snowshoeing. Beware of out-of-bound, snowboarders that may be coming down the trail. The trail begins at the Maples sign. We went up the hill, and followed the telephone poles to the ridge. More adventurous hikers may want to continue to the overlook. We decided to take the main forest trail back, passing by the Maples Campground and cross country ski area.
