31st Anniversary ~ Twin Lakes Hike

Outdoors with Jesus began the Summer of 1986.   Today we celebrated our 31st Anniversary.   Cool breezes, overlooking the completely full Twin Lakes Reservoir.   We read Psalm 92 today and had our lunch break looking at the beautiful mountains.

The trail begins at Silver Lake on the north boardwalk trail.
At the trail junction to Lake Solitude, take the Twin Lakes trail up the hill.   Take you time and enjoy the scenery.   See the Marmots on the rocks.

MARMOT

The hike up to the lake is 1 mile, and elevation gain is 800'.   We saw 3 year old children hiking on this Kid Friendly trail.   Restrooms are available at Silver Lake.
Allow 2 to 3 hours to enjoy this adventure.
Big Cottonwood Canyon is a protected Watershed area:   No dogs allowed.  Also, no swimming, no wading and no littering.
For directions, Google "Brighton, UT"

MILL B NORTH FORK, begins by going up some Grand Canyon staircase. The first climb is steep & more Intermediate. You'll get some great views of the S Curve as you begin switchbacks.
