Rail Trail ~ Wanship to Echo loop

God gave us a beautiful sunny day, with wonderful friends. We saw birds fly out of the tunnel and a run-away cow in Coalville.

DESCRIPTION: Beautiful ride taking you through farm land, across bridges and to the south shore of Echo Reservoir. You see horses, lamas, goats, cows, birds, and wild creatures.
MILEAGE: 15 miles
RATINGS: Moderate
RIDE TIME: 2 hours 20 minutes
MEET: At the Wanship Rail Trail parking lot.
DIRECTIONS: 38 mile drive from SLC on I-80 east bound.
Take the Wanship exit, turn left, drive all the way through town, and paved parking lot is on the left side (across the street from Spring Chicken Inn).
RESTROOMS are available at Wanship and Coalville.
GEAR: Make sure you bring energy snacks, water, sunscreen, helmet, gloves, pump, extra tube, & bike tools. Make sure you have cold drinks, when you return to your car.
