MILLCREEK CANYON HIKES
MILEAGE: 2.2 miles from Terrace Picnic trailhead to Bowman Overlook.
RATINGS: Moderate Plus (few steep sections)ELEVATION GAIN: 1,300'
HIKE TIME: Allow 3 hours for fun.
DOGS on leash on even days, and allowed off leash on odd days. You must clean up after your dogs.
GEAR: Water, energy snacks, hiking pole, camera.
DIRECTIONS: Enter Millcreek Canyon at 3800 S. Wasatch Blvd. Drive up 4.3 miles and find a parking place near the road to the Terrace Picnic area. Hike up the road to the trailhead.
CELL PHONE service is bad in Millcreek Canyon.
CANYON FEE: $3 per vehicle ($2 senior rate) leaving canyon.
