SMITH-MOOREHOUSE

God blessed us with a wonderful cool 4th of July in the mountains.   We enjoyed reading a Psalm at Dave's cabin.   Most of the group went hiking on the Smith-Moorehouse Trail, while one stayed at the reservoir to fish.

You'll find the trailhead parking area with a restroom at the end of the campground.   Most people hike for a few miles and turn back.   The trail leads to the Crystal Lake trailhead 10 miles away.

DIRECTIONS: Take I-80 from Salt Lake up Parley's Canyon,
Take the Wanship exit, turn right on SR 32,
Oakley take Weber Canyon road and follow signs to the reservoir.
