Jordan River Parkway

Jesus blessed us with a great Sunday afternoon ride. Spring run-off has closed the trail at 7800 South & 4500 South. New wetlands are being created, by flooding fields. Pelicans, ducks and birds love it!



WINCHESTER PARK: 4500 South/7800 South Loop


  • DESCRIPTION: The parkway is a paved trail, beside the Jordan River. There are bridges, boardwalks, underpasses, parks, and sections with multiple trails. There's even benches to sit on.

  • TRAILHEAD: Winchester Park, Winchester St. (6670 S.) and Murray Bluffs Road (1200 West), Murray Utah.

  • RESTROOMS available at the parks.

  • RATINGS: NEWBIES

  • MILEAGE: 11.3 miles total

  • RIDE TIME: 1 1/2 hours

  • GEAR: Helmet, water, pump, bike tools, camera, and snacks.
