Warm, beautiful day hiking to the summit on Antelope Island. God blessed us with great scenery!

We saw buffalo, birds and a coyote on the Island.

Psalms 92 was read on the 6,596' peak. 

Antelope Island State Park
RATINGS: Intermediate plus
MILEAGE: 3.12 miles to peak
ELEVATION GAIN: 2,100'
HIKE TIME: Allow 4 1/2 hours
NO DOGS allowed on this trail. And no mountain biking.
DRIVE TIME from entrance to trailhead is 30 minutes. The road closes at dark.
It's a one hour drive from Salt Lake City.
GEAR: Hiking pole, lots of water, energy snacks, sack lunch, sunscreen and camera.
DIRECTIONS: Take Antelope Drive exit in Syracuse and drive west to the Great Salt Lake.
RESTROOMS available at entrance, visitor center and horse parking below trailhead.
