NORTH FORK SNOWSHOE ~ MIRROR LAKE HIGHWAY

What a grand adventure, snowshoeing by the Mirror Lake Highway. Jesus blessed us with a partly cloudy, warm day.

NORTH FORK TRAILHEAD

This trail is open to snowshoers and cross country skiers. Please do not destroy this trail, walking with boots only.

COUNTER CLOCKWISE LOOP

DESCRIPTION ~ From Kamas, take SR 150 east. Turn right at North Fork and turn right into the small ski parking lot. There is an out house in the snowmobile parking area, down the road. If you enjoy being away from crowds, want clean air, and enjoy a packed snowshoe trail, this is a great loop. The elevation gain is gradual. It's wonderful, hiking through a forest of Yellow Pines.

WONDERFUL ESCAPE

FEE ~ Mirror Lake Recreation Pass or use National Rec Pass.
RATINGS ~ Moderate
HIKE TIME ~ 2 1/2 hours
