RAIL TRAIL ~ Wanship to Coalville loop
An enjoyable day on the Historic Union Pacific Rail Trail. This is a great ride to build up endurance and escape the crowds. On the ride we saw Llamas, cows, horses, storks, and other farm creatures.
RATINGS: Moderate
MILEAGE: 14 mile loop
RESTROOMS: At Wanship and Coalville trailheads.
GEAR: Thorn liner is highly recommended. Take extra tube, flat repair tools, pump, helmet, water, energy snacks and jacket if the weather is changing.
DIRECTIONS: Take I-80 up Parley's Canyon east bound, take the Wanship exit, turn left and drive all the way through Wanship, where you'll find the Rail Trail parking area.
