RAIL TRAIL ~ WANSHIP to ECHO RESERVOIR

God gave us a beautiful sunny day, with wonderful friends. We saw birds fly out of the tunnel and a run-away cow in Coalville.

COW ON THE RAIL TRAIL

DESCRIPTION: Beautiful ride taking you through farm land, across bridges and to the south shore of Echo Reservoir. You see horses, lamas, goats, cows, birds, and wild creatures.
 


ECHO RESERVOIR

MILEAGE: 15 miles 
RATINGS: Moderate 
RIDE TIME: 2 hours 20 minutes 
TRAILHEAD:  Wanship Rail Trail parking lot. DIRECTIONS: 38 mile drive from SLC on I-80 east bound. Take the Wanship exit, turn left, drive all the way through town, and paved parking lot is on the left side; across the street from the old Spring Chicken Inn. 
RESTROOMS are available at Wanship and Coalville. 
GEAR: Make sure you bring energy snacks, water, sunscreen, helmet, gloves, pump, extra tube, & bike tools. Make sure you have cold drinks, when you return to your car.
