Adam's Canyon

God blessed us with excellent hiking weather, and beautiful fall colors.
Adam's Canyon is a FUN PLACE for hikers!   Prepare yourself for a great obsticle course.  You'll walk on sand, over bridges, through streams, scramble on rocks, climb over and under trees, walk on a ledge, see wildlife, discover secret trails, and see a beautiful waterfall.   And in Autumn you discover a forest of vivid colors.   This is not a hike for the faint at heart; but an adventure in the Layton area.   The hike takes about 3 hours and is great exercise!

Lake Solitude ~ Twin Lakes loop

We enjoyed a day with wonderful friends around Brighton, Utah. Our moderate hike began at Silver Lake.  At the trail junction, we took the Lake Solitude Trail, hiking 1.4 miles to Lake Solitude.  After taking  break, we hiked up the road to the pass, and went down the hill to Twin Lakes Reservoir.   We enjoyed seeing the golden aspens.   Several hikers went fishing; while the rest of us enjoyed lunch.  God blessed us with a great day in the mountains.
