MILEAGE: 1 1/4 mile to the lake
ELEVATION GAIN: 700'
WATERSHED AREA:  No dogs, no swimming and no wading.
HIKE TIME: 40 minutes up, 30 minutes down.
DIRECTIONS: Drive up Big Cottonwood Canyon to Brighton, Utah.   Park at the Silver Lake center.   Take the boardwalk trail to the right.   Follow signs up to the lake.
