God blessed us with a warm, blue sky day. While most of the folks at Snowbasin were on the slopes skiing and snowboarding; we enjoyed snowshoing away from the crowds.
Description: Begin your hike at the Maples trailhead on the road. Please do not walk on the groomed cross country ski track; stay on the sides or the middle. Walk toward the ridge and do not take the Art Nord trail down or go to the cross country ski loop to the left. Look for a Ogden Canyon Overlook trail sign and map. From there follow the packed snowshoe trail up to the top.
On your return route consider taking the telephone pole trail back to the parking lot.
