Lake Mary is the most popular family hiking trail in the Wasatch Mountains.   Cool breeze felt like an air conditioner.

NO DOGS allowed in Big Cottonwood Canyon
WATERSHED: No swimming, no wading allowed in the Cottonwood Canyons. 
MILEAGE: 1 mile to the alpine lake.
GEAR: Water, hat, bug spray, sunscreen, hiking pole, and energy snacks.
PACK OUT all garbage and do not feed the animals.
DIRECTIONS:  Drive to the top of Big Cottonwood Canyon to the large ski lot.  The trail begins at the large ski sign, up a gravel pathway.
