SKYLINE NATURE HIKE
DESCRIPTION: This makes a great Sunday afternoon hike. We begin at the Wakara Way, Colorow Road trail head and walk up to the Bonneville Shoreline trail. Take the first trail up. Follow the fence line around Red

THE LIVING ROOM
DESCRIPTION: Park by the Bonneville Shoreline trail, near the gate to Red Butte Gardens, on Colorow Drive and Wakara Way. Follow the shoreline trail south. Near Georges Hollow take the trail to the left up to the upper shoreline trail and turn right. You'll find the main trail to the Big Beacon & Living Room around the bend. Stay on the main trail, and do not take any minor trails to the left or right. At the top of the gulley, there is a fork in the trail. Go left to the Living Room or go straight for the summit hike.
RATINGS: MODERATE
MILEAGE: 1.3 miles each way
ELEVATION: 950' gain
KIDS & DOGS enjoy this trail.

HIKE TIME: Allow 2 hours, plus time at the Living Room
DIRECTIONS: From Foothill Blvd, near the U of U, follow signs to Red Butte Gardens. Drive up Wakara Way and turn right on Colorow Road and park near the entrance sign to Red Butte.

AVENUE TWIN PEAKS
Begin your hike at the gate. Follow the main trail around the first bend were you'll find a fork in the trail. The main trail to the left is the Bobsled trail. Take the small trail to the right. You'll follow this jeep road all the way to the ridge, behind Twin Peaks. After enjoying the summit, go down the face of the hill to the Bonneville Shoreline trail. Follow the jeep road back down to your vehicle.
HIKE TIME: Allow 2 3/4 hours
MILEAGE: 1.6 miles to the summit
ELEVATION GAIN: 1150'
RATINGS: Intermediate
NO RESTROOMS
DOGS: leashed and you'll need clean up bags.

MILLCREEK SNOW HIKE ~ UPPER PIPELINE
HIKE TIME: 3 hours
MILEAGE: 4 miles
RESTROOMS available along the canyon road.
DIRECTIONS: Enter Millcreek Canyon from 3800 South and Wasatch Blvd, SLC, UT. Drive up to the winter gate and find parking.
FEE: $3 per vehicle ($2 seniors) leaving the canyon.
